Privacy Policy

Questionnaire and matching

Our onboarding questionnaire collects your industry, role, experience, current job, commitment, pay, start date, country, name, email, phone, age and gender. We use these answers to match you with offers. We store them privately in Vercel Blob, and the founders can see them.

Payments and account access

Stripe handles payments through Stripe Checkout and its customer portal. Stripe holds your name, email, phone and subscription status. We use this information to manage your subscription and access. We never see your card numbers.

We store a 6-character access key on your Stripe customer record and email it to you through Resend so you can sign in.

Interest requests

When you click “I'm interested” on an offer, we record your name, email, time of request, introduction status and whether you got the job. The founders use these records to arrange and track your introduction to that business owner. For the introduction we give that one owner your name and email, never your mobile number or text message opt-in data and consent.

Text alerts and consent

You can opt in to repconnect job alerts by checking the optional box in the onboarding questionnaire or on the offers board through the text-alert card or Preferences, using a US or Canadian mobile number. We store your number and opt-in time on your Stripe customer record when your membership is provisioned. Turning text alerts off on the board deletes that consent record. Twilio sends one text per new job offer published to your board.

We do not share or sell your mobile number or text message opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We share your number only with the service provider that delivers our texts (Twilio), and only to deliver them.

Reply STOP to stop all texts from our number: Twilio blocks further texts until you reply START, even if alerts are still on in your board. Reply HELP for help. See the SMS program terms for message details.

Cookies and browser storage

We use the signed rc_session cookie to keep you signed in for 90 days. The rc_answers cookie links your questionnaire to checkout for 30 days.

Your browser's localStorage saves your theme, read notifications, job keyword preferences and whether you dismissed the text-alert card. You can clear cookies and localStorage in your browser; this may sign you out or reset your preferences.

We do not use analytics or advertising scripts.

Service providers

We use Stripe for payments and customer records, Vercel for hosting and private storage, Resend for email, and Twilio for text messages. We use these providers to run the service. We do not sell your data. The text-alert sharing limits above apply to your mobile number and text message opt-in data and consent.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active or until you ask us to delete it.

Your choices

You can turn off text alerts on the offers board or in Preferences, or reply STOP at any time. Email support@repconnect.vip to access or delete your data.

Children

repconnect is not for children under 16. You must be at least 16 to use the service.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will post changes here and update the effective date.
